We’re looking for exceptional candidates to join us a Client Account Lead and help drive our market and customer activities, to create outstanding results for our clients and help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing consultancy in a senior role that will help shape our future and realise our ambitious growth targets.

You’ll be responsible for creating, evolving and integrating all of Delaware’s offerings within your account to maximise value for our customers, delight them with our industry leading delivery pedigree, whilst growing our footprint across our large, strategic customer base.

The position is a hybrid delivery and sales role and you will be targeted on both account revenue generation, profitability and delivery assurance.

You’ll be the key focal point for the Delaware team and client executives for all commercial and delivery activities, and ultimately responsible for the success of the account for both the client and Delaware.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated their ability to manage large, complex accounts in the technology consulting domain, evidence extensive consulting experience in a large system integrator, whilst establishing their sales credentials within one or more large accounts.

What will you be doing?

  • Achieve account growth targets, delivery excellence, and long-term client value
  • Evolve and expand offerings using Delaware's SAP services and products
  • Identify and assess business opportunities across UK industries, including strategic outsourcing
  • Develop executive and senior management relationships
  • Support large-scale, complex deal identification and solution formation with the sales team
  • Collaborate with Delaware ecosystem and strategic partners for end-to-end solutions
  • Demonstrate business value through deal formation, shaping, and execution, translating complex solutions into business-relevant content
  • Own opportunities in pre-sales until formal engagement, transitioning deals from sales to delivery
  • Be accountable for all engagements within the account, retaining executive delivery oversight until completion
  • Act as the penultimate point of escalation for delivery and commercial issues
  • Manage the development of the account team and their direct reports, driving a culture of high performance

Is there a match - Professional Experience?

  • 10 years in Management Consultancy
  • Proven business development in large accounts
  • Solid understanding of SAP's newest offerings and deployment approaches
  • Full understanding of SAP and non-SAP hosting options
  • Success in multi-stakeholder environments and senior C-Suite relationships
  • Strategic account growth through upsell and service expansion
  • Experience in highly matrixed organizations
  • Advanced account and programme management across technology and business transformations
  • Expertise in managing fixed price, milestone-based contracts
  • Extensive SAP S/4HANA experience
  • Innovation pedigree in large IT or management consultancy
